What's included in a standard residential clean?+

Every residential clean covers all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen. That means dusting and wiping all reachable surfaces, sanitising bathrooms, cleaning the kitchen worktops, sink and exterior of appliances, vacuuming and mopping all floors, emptying bins and tidying as we go. You can add extras like oven cleaning or an internal fridge clean at checkout.

What's included in an end of tenancy clean?+

Our end of tenancy clean is a top-to-bottom deep clean designed to meet letting-agent standards. It includes everything in a residential clean plus degreasing the oven, hob and extractor, descaling bathrooms, cleaning inside cupboards, the fridge and freezer, skirting boards, light fittings and window frames. It's the clean that gives you the best chance of getting your full deposit back.

How much does a clean cost?+

Pricing is based on your property size, so you know the total before you book. A one-bedroom home starts from £79, with clear pricing up to five bedrooms. Add-ons like oven cleaning or carpet refreshes are priced separately and shown in your cart before checkout. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges.

Do you offer a discount for first-time customers?+

Yes — new accounts automatically receive 10% off their first clean at checkout. There's no voucher code to remember; the discount is applied as soon as you create an account and complete your first booking.

How do I book a clean?+

Choose your property size, add any extras to your cart, then head to checkout and pick a date and time that suits you. The whole process takes under two minutes online. You'll get a confirmation by email straight away.

What payment methods do you accept?+

You pay when you make your booking. Pay securely online by card through our checkout, or choose to pay your cleaner in cash on the day of the clean. Card bookings are confirmed straight away; cash bookings are held until the clean is complete.

Can I pay by cash?+

Yes. Choose 'pay with cash' at checkout and settle up with your cleaner in cash on the day of the clean, once the job is done.

How far in advance should I book?+

We recommend booking at least 3–5 days ahead, especially for end of tenancy cleans which tend to cluster around move-out dates. That said, we often have same-week availability — check the booking calendar for the earliest slots.

What is your cancellation policy?+

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your appointment. Within 48 hours we may apply a small fee to cover the cleaner's allocated time, but we always try to be reasonable — if something urgent comes up, get in touch.

Can I reschedule my clean?+

Yes, just let us know at least 48 hours in advance and we'll move your booking to a new slot that works for you. Recurring customers can pause or shift cleans anytime from their account.

Are your cleaners vetted and insured?+

Every cleaner is background-checked, reference-checked and fully insured for public liability. We don't use agency temps — our cleaners are part of the 10 Ten Cleans team and trained to the same standard on every job.

Do you bring your own equipment and products?+

Yes, our cleaners arrive with everything they need — professional-grade vacuums, microfibre cloths, mop systems and a full kit of cleaning products. You don't need to provide a thing.

Are your cleaning products eco-friendly?+

Wherever possible we use biodegradable, eco-friendly products that are tough on grime but kind to your home and the planet. If you'd prefer a specific product or have sensitivities, just let us know and we'll accommodate.

What areas do you cover?+

We currently cover Glasgow and the surrounding area and Ayrshire. You can see the full list of neighbourhoods we serve on our Areas We Cover page, and we're expanding all the time.

Do you clean on weekends?+

Yes, we operate Monday to Saturday, with limited Sunday availability for end of tenancy cleans. Weekend slots fill up fast, so book early if you need one.

How long does a clean take?+

It depends on the size of your home and the level of clean. A standard one-bedroom residential clean typically takes 2–3 hours, while a full end of tenancy clean on a three-bedroom property can take 4–6 hours. We'll give you a time estimate when you book.

Do I need to be home during the clean?+

Not at all. Many of our customers are at work while we clean. As long as we can access the property — via a key safe, a neighbour, or a key you leave with us — you can go about your day and come back to a fresh home.

How do you handle keys and access?+

We can collect keys in person, use a key safe, or arrange access through a neighbour or letting agent. All keys are handled securely and never labelled with your address. For end of tenancy cleans we're used to coordinating with agents.

What is your satisfaction guarantee?+

We take pride in every clean and hold ourselves to a high standard on every job. If something's not right, let us know — we take it seriously, follow up with the cleaner, and work with you to make sure it's addressed.

Do you offer regular or recurring cleans?+

Yes. We offer weekly, fortnightly and monthly recurring cleans at a discounted rate. Set it up once and we'll handle the rest — you can pause, skip or cancel anytime from your account.

Can you clean ovens, carpets or windows as extras?+

Yes. Oven cleaning, internal fridge cleaning, carpet refreshes and internal window cleaning can all be added to your booking. You'll see the price for each extra in your cart before you pay.

What happens if I'm not happy with the clean?+

Get in touch and let us know what fell short. We take every bit of feedback seriously, follow up with the cleaner and the team, and work with you to make sure it's addressed.
