Cleaning your way to a fresh start

Moving home is stressful enough without losing your deposit. Here's how to get the cleaning right — whether you do it yourself or let us handle it.

1. Work to a checklist

Use our end of tenancy checklist to clean room by room, or hand it to us and we'll do it for you. Either way, a documented clean is your best defence against deposit disputes.

2. Meet the letting-agent standard

Most tenancy agreements require a 'professional clean'. Our end of tenancy service is built specifically to meet that standard — degreased oven, descaled bathrooms, inside cupboards, the lot.

3. Protect your deposit

Cleaning is the single most common reason landlords deduct from deposits. A thorough, documented clean gives you the strongest position if a dispute arises.

A quick deposit checklist

  • • Take photos of every room before you leave, after cleaning
  • • Keep any receipts if you used a professional cleaner (we provide these)
  • • Note meter readings and return all keys
  • • Compare against the inventory you received at move-in

Let us handle the move-out clean

Book our end of tenancy clean and focus on the move — we'll make sure it's up to standard.
